Last week I received an exciting email from someone from NOMAS (National Organization for Men Against Sexism) Boston inviting me to an event next Thursday called “Dating While Feminist.” He had read my posts on the subject, and thought the event would be right up my alley. Oh, yes! Yes, indeed!

I was already super excited to meet the men of NOMAS and other like-minded individuals at the event, and then I found out that Jaclyn Friedman would be moderating.  THE Jaclyn Friedman! Director of of  WAM!: Women, Action & the Media, editor of Yes Means Yes!: Visions of Female Sexual Power and a World Without Rape, and subject of the infamous “Fucking While Feminist” interview with Amanda Hess that got us all talking about the challenges of feminist dating in the first place. And I might get to meet her, you say? I am THERE.
